Dear Gen Z and Y,
I recently heard to stop shalaye-ing and just act. This is what I plan to do.
Q1 is done and over, and instead of doing a monthly dump for March, why not just do a quarterly dump?
My plans for Q1 were basically to rest and focus on completing my master’s project. I am not sure how both of them could have worked together, but at least I am done with writing my thesis. Glory to God!
How about you? What have you been doing since January 1, 2024? We have spent 90 days in the year already; what are your wins? Did you have a vision board? Did you do more than just plan and take action? We all scream, new year, new me. We are 90 days in; do we have a new you? Or is the old you still fighting to show face?
I know we usually hear people say people should not pressure others by documenting their wins. But, my dear, if you see it as pressure, something is wrong somewhere. It’s okay to take breaks from your life, take a step back, or take a gap year. But your life should be on so much of a pause that you are not moving forward or backward. Your gap year should be to plan and not sleep and feel sad or sorry for yourself.
Let pressure motivate you to move forward.
So, today and tomorrow, take stock of your life
Check:
Where were you before?
Where are you now?
Where do you need to be?
Thank you for coming to my pep talk, till I come your way again
A drop of honey for your day!
Have a great easter holiday and a blessed new month
