Dear Gen Zs,
In today’s note, I want to tell you that whatever your hands have found doing is not small. Even if it is just a business idea or plan that you have in your head, nothing is small. It is easy to lose sight of what we have in our hands and get dragged into a world that sucks us into a cycle of comparing our lives with others. The people who said “A bird in the hands is worth two in the bush” knew what they were talking about.
For as long as you have what you have, bear in mind that growth will happen. This is as long as you are pouring effort into it. It is like a tap that drops water every day on a stone. Sooner or later, that stone will begin to dent. (I just remembered weathering in Agric. Science.😂) In the words of Oluwatosin Olasehinde, Make peace with the fact that it might take a while.
What should you do while you wait? Take Record. We miss seeing how important what we do is because we do not take records. If you did, it will be easy to look back and see the impact of your work.
Here is what I think you should do. Whenever someone compliments you, gives a testimonial about your business, or you have a win, record it in a folder or file, and on your low days, gloss over it.
In other news, HoneyDrops Blog has something special for you, and in 85 days, the cat will be out of the bag. But don’t worry; you will know what it is before that date. It is a special Christmas gift.
P.S. Don’t keep all these goodies to yourself. Help us grow the community by inviting your friends to subscribe to our newsletter. Tap on the button below to share.
So, what area of your life do you think you are undervaluing? What will you be doing to change it?
A drop of honey for your day…
